I have just recently been introduced to Greek food and am in love! I’ve heard wonderful thing about Plaka from friends of mine who live nearby. I can’t wait to give them a try the next time I’m in town!

Sounds like a food snob to me! The food was excellent and all you have to do is ask for more heat when you order. Best Mexican food between Portland and Seattle, good flavor and well prepared. The family IS friendly and this is genuine.

I only like the chile Colorado or the chile verde, actually I LOVE them! They are more flavorful and spicy than the rest of the menu. I’ve tried the other dishes of which you spoke and agree, they are good and authentic, but not amazing. The chile verde and chile Colorado are to die for!! Another Centralia great? Tacos del Rey! Try the carne tortas!! Mmmmmmm comes with jalpenos!!

I just have to say this post occurs to me and makes me laugh every now and then. Ever since I read it (and told my boyfriend about it), everytime we walk by Boom, we both say “Boom Noodle sucks.” The funny thing is we’ve never been there!

Nobody’s been able to tell me if the marination truck chefs use the “pressure infusion marination technique” on any of their dishes. Google for it if you are unfamiliar with it. It reduces marination time requirements from days to minutes and can be used to infuse flavors into liquors. Hope ya can help. It’s not like it’s EZ to find an email addr 4 ‘em.

I agree, it sucks. I can’t seem to find anyone who likes it either. And they are opening a huge one at University Village and I don’t understand why.
